Using a Smartphone or a Tablet as a Computer

A modern Smartphone or tablet is simply a touch screen computer. It is capable of providing so much more than telephone service. Tom Libbey will tell us about the difference in using a cellular signal or a Wi-Fi signal. He will talk about types of apps available for your smartphone. If you have Office365 you will learn how to load Word, Excel and PowerPoint on your mobile device. Come learn some of the many functions your mobile devices are capable of doing.

How to Develop Strong Passwords and Using a Password Manager

Everyone has, or should have, concerns about computer security. Tom Libbey will tell us about:

  • What used to be good passwords but aren’t anymore.
  • What are strong passwords – ones that we can possibly remember.
  • Password managers and what they can do.

Looking forward to seeing you there. Visitors are always welcome.
