Help! When the computer "acts up" or a "How do you....?" question arises on an application, support is available to club members from fellow club members by telephone or by e-mail.

If the question is how to get an application to do what they told you it would do when you bought it, there are a growing number of folks willing to give a hand. For instance, if you want to place a graphic in a bulletin board notice and have the text flow around it, or you want to scan a picture and crop it, or you want to make a spreadsheet formula calculate the interest the church is paying the bank on that loan, help is available from more and more members as the club grows.

The table below lists various applications and the volunteers who want to help if they can. You should keep in mind that these contacts are not computer professionals. They are just members who have some experience in certain areas and are willing to help. There are no guarantees of course and members avail themselves of this help at their own risk. We want the support scheme to work and, so far, it seems to be doing quite well. Your ideas and suggestions are sincerely invited.
